Well done to the Salmo under 14 team, who' season has had a string of consistent results and strong performances in all their matches to date.
Under the guidance of the Management Team of Michael Nugent, Kevin Major, Peter Grainger, Declan O'Neill and administrator Patricia Phipps, the season has included qualification for three different Semi Finals, without losing a single match along the way!.
However, Lady luck has been a bit cruel to them since achieving this landmark, as they lost the Leinster league Semi-Final to Navan and the Leinster Senior Cup Semi Final to Skerries (on Sunday in Kirwan Park), only just though, by the slimmest of margins of three points!

However, The Metro Semi-Final has still to be played and they are awaiting confirmation from the branch of their opposition, but it looks like it will be Clontarf. So lets hope it is third time lucky and the boys qualify for a final, the very least they deserve after all their hard work and spirit in the matches to date.
Either way, a tour is a must for every young rugby player and what better way to finish an enjoyable season like this one, than to go on tour, with a return trip to their friends at the superb Abergavenny Rugby Festival at Usk in Wales. Do the club and yourselves proud boys!!
