We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing (following illness) of Seamus Smith (R.I.P), who was President of De La Salle Palmerston FC for both the 1990/91 and 1991/92 season.
Seamus contributed a huge amount to the club, in particular during the period following the merger of both clubs and into the early nineties.
His work was instrumental in setting the foundations for the success that followed in future years and something that to this the day the club is very appreciative of.
