Salmo Players dinner a great success!

The SOLD OUT signs were on display at Kirwan Park last Friday Night, when the annual Players Dinner took place in the Stratton Hall.

The night started on a great note, when our very own Leinster Branch President Kevin Fitzpatrick, proudly brought the Heineken Cup into the hall to a standing ovation and a deafening chorus of "Championees" at his home club, which fittingly was his last official function as President of the branch.

Another highlight of the night was the re union of Niall Fitzgerald’s all conquering J3 team from the 2000-01 season (seen in photo below).

The reunion was marked with Niall Fitzgerald presenting coaches Thomas Leigh and Kevin Tobin with an award in recognition of the re union and their roles as coaches.
