Don’t forget the Rugby World Cup Big Breakfast comes to Kilternan again this weekend, on Saturday morning for the Australian game, kickoff is at 9.30am. A good crowd turned up for the USA game and a large crowd is expected tomorrow, so you are advised to get there early to get a seat.
Breakfast rolls, with Tea or Coffee are available on the day and remember ALL Ireland’s Rugby World Cup Matches will be shown live at Kirwan Park, more information to follow.

The Salmo U-12's at the RDS last Friday night
Well done to our U-12’s , who played great rugby in the RDS last Friday night, when they beat Edenderrry by two tries to nil, with two excellent tries from Daniel Kelly and Ben O’Leary (son of J4 player and U-10’s coach Eoin).
Some SALMO Stats about the squad of 15, it included Luke Byrne (son of Head Coach and former Club Captain Norman), Ryan Hayes (son of another former club Captain Stephen), Adam Nealon (son of current J4 player Emmet), Jake Finlay (Cousin of Salmo and Leinster U-19 scrum half Ian Burke) and Cian Lillis, nephew of former first team player Karl.
Well done to coaches Norman Byrne, Barry Murphy, John Feeney and Padraig Duggan.
Leinster Mascot a Salmo Man
Also last Friday night in the RDS, one of the Leinsters Mascots was, Salmo U-9 player, Cian O ‘Riordan who is the son of former first team Captain David and Nephew of former first team centre Niall. A proud moment for all the O'Riordan family.
Development Squad taking shape
Tom Hynes has been in touch to advise Ultan Burton has been appointed as Captain for the Development Squad (J2) for this season, with last year’s J3 Captain being appointed as pack leader. He is also delighted to update us that huge numbers continue to atten Junior training this year, which is great news as we have entered teams for leagues at 1stxv, J1,J2,J3,J4 & J5 this season.

Salmo Games this weekend
Tonight at home in Kirwan Park, sees the Salmo U-21’s take on Terenure in a friendly, kick off is 7.30pm
Saturday, sees Clontarf visit Kirwan Park in The Leinster Senior League Cup, kick off is at 2pm for the first team, which is followed at 4pm by the second’s taking on the Clontarf seconds.
At Dr hickey Park in Greystones on Saturday at 1pm, the J4’s take on Greystones in a friendly.
