Last Saturday at Kirwan Park, the newly formed J5's took to the pitch to take on Terenure in only their second game. Included in the ranks was Sean Mc Donagh, who was joined by his son Adam, as the two of them proudly took on the nure, making tackle after tackle in an entertaining game.
In doing so, they joined a very small and elite club of father and son who played for Salmo and as far as we know, they are the first to do so in a league game for any De La Salle Palmerston side since the merger in 1985.
Well done lads, it's a fantastic achievement and proud moment for you both!
