One of the largest crowds in a number of years turned up at the 201/13 Annual General Meeting for De La Salle Palmerston FC which took place on Wednesday June 12th last in The Stratton Hall at Kirwan Park.
On the night the outgoing President Karl Burke (L) congratulated Ciaran Daly (R) on becoming the 29th President of De La Salle Palmerston FC. Ciaran is a former Chairman of our Mini/Youths section and is a member of the Management Committee.
Also on the night, J1 Head coach, Tom Hynes (L) was presented with the Brendan Cryan Plaque for coaching for his huge commitment to coaching the J1's this season.He is seen here recieveing the award from club President Karl Burke.
Graham Cooke was also an award recipient and was presented with the Harry Fine tankard in reognition of his outstanding work for fund raising through the club lotto, car boot sales & club infinity disco projects.
Also on the night club stalwart Lar Hudson (a former President of De La Salle RFC between 1976-78), was awarded The Stokes Cup in recognition of his services to the 1st xv and rugby in the club.
